The Creative Youth Coding Program comes to Melbourne

Melbourne here we come!

We’re coming to Melbourne on August 24th.. A big thanks to the Bass Coast Shire for making it happen.

We’ll be teaching local primary school students the essential skills at the The Kathleen Syme Library . We use video games as a powerful method for developing students’ skills. Video games combine many areas of knowledge including maths, logic, music, and technology.

Students will develop their game through creating characters, colourful backgrounds, game logic, and create an accompanying soundtrack for the game.

What is the Creative Youth Coding Program?

At Creative Bytes, we believe that video games are a powerful tool for developing students' skills. Video games combine many areas of knowledge, including maths, logic, music, and technology, making them an ideal way to teach digital literacy.

Through our Creative Youth Coding Program, students develop their own video game by creating characters, colourful backgrounds, game logic, and an accompanying soundtrack. Our program is designed to be engaging and interactive, providing students with the opportunity to learn digital literacy skills in a fun and creative environment.
